Day 1: Arrival in Candidasa

After arriving at Denpasar International Airport, hop in a transfer to Candidasa, the perfect base for your diving adventures.

Once you check into Lotus Bungalows Candidasa, we will make sure you have everything you need from us. When you are all settled in your room, you can begin your adventure by exploring the charming beaches and the town of Candidasa. You will be amazed by the coastal views and the splendid surroundings of the place.

Since you may not have the time to go on a dive trip the same day, we recommend exploring the Blue Lagoon by snorkeling. This is a perfect spot even for beginners because of its calm waters and rich marine life.

Moreover, the Blue Lagoon will be the perfect start to your romantic adventure and everything Candidasa has in store for you! You will get to explore vibrant reefs teeming with a wide variety of marine life that gather along steep walls, coral slopes, and within caves and caverns.

Day 2: Day Trip around Candidasa and Padangbai

If you and your partner are diving enthusiasts and want to begin your diving adventure right away, we highly recommend a day trip around Candidasa and Padangbai. In short, this is just the perfect spot for an adventurous duo! Exploring vibrant coral reefs and encountering diverse marine life, from seahorses to sharks, creates a magical and unforgettable experience for couples, creating connection and shared adventure in a stunning underwater world.

Start your diving at The 3 Gilis of Candidasa: Gili Mimpang, Tepekong and Biaha for some amazing drift dives among stunning rocky outcrops, unique underwater caves and maybe even spot white-tip reef sharks.

Then, head over to Padang Bai, a world renowned muck diving destination. Common marine species encountered during dives in Padang Bai include frogfish, seahorses, nudibranchs, shrimps, crabs, pipefish, and octopuses.

Day 3: Day Trip to Nusa Penida

Continuing your 6-day Bali trip, we suggest taking a dive trip to Nusa Penida, just a short boat ride from Candidasa.

Start your day at Manta Point, where you will have the chance to swim alongside majestic manta rays. After that, make a stop at Crystal Bay. If you are diving between August and October, you may spot the incredible mola mola, the ocean’s unique sunfish.

And, if you are up for some excitement, SD Point is perfect for a drift dive, where you can explore diverse marine life while gliding through the currents.

Finally, you will make your way back to Candidasa in the late afternoon, filled with incredible memories and stories to share. This day trip is not only a fantastic way to explore the ocean together but also a perfect way to create lasting memories as a couple!

Day 4: Day Trip to Amed and Tulamben

A trip to Amed and Tulamben is a must for divers! Located just north of Candidasa, these spots offer incredible underwater adventures.

You can start your day at the Japanese Shipwreck in Amed, a shallow dive that comes with vibrant marine life. This is a great spot for both beginners and experienced divers. So, whatever your diving level is, you will not make a mistake by exploring this area!

Then, make your way to the famous USAT Liberty Wreck  in Tulamben. This world-renowned site is super accessible and home to a wide array of extraordinary fish.

After that, check out the Tulamben Drop Off. This wall dive features lush coral gardens and is full of colorful marine creatures. We like to call it a feast for the eyes, so you need to see it!

By late afternoon, you will head back to Candidasa, and your hearts will be satisfied.

Day 5: Day Trip to Jemeluk Bay

Jemeluk Bay is a perfect place for macro diving, making it ideal for those who love to explore the tiny treasures of the underwater world. You can take your time with relaxed shore dives, which means you can easily pop in and out of the water.

The stunning coral gardens here are breathtaking and are home to a variety of diverse marine critters from vibrant nudibranchs to curious shrimp.

These surroundings will give you plenty of opportunities for memorable underwater photos. Plus, the tranquil atmosphere of Jemeluk Bay makes it a great place to connect with each other while appreciating the beauty of the ocean.

Day 6: Departure

As your diving itinerary for couples comes to an end, we’d recommend taking some time to explore some of these Bali temples.

After your morning adventure, ensure you take some time to relax on the beach. Lie back, soak up the sun, and enjoy the sounds of the waves.

However, if you are not a big fan of the beach and you want some more active adventures, explore Candidasa. There are charming little shops and cafes, and the picturesque Lotus Lagoon.
