Climate

Bali has an equatorial climate with monsoon type weather. The rainy season usually lasts from November to April and the dry season from April to October. From the end of May until September is the time of the south-east trade winds, which provide wonderful cooling breezes to the coastal areas in this part of Bali. The temperature hardly drops below 25 degrees while the water temperature depends on the areas and the time of the year. Usually it's around 28 degrees, but sometimes can drop to 22 degrees because of the cold current crossing the Lombok Strait. The rainy season is characterized by sudden, momentary downpour after which the fine weather comes back again.
