Liebes Tauchteam,
danke für 21 Stunden grandioses Tauchen mit Euch - es war einfach herrlich!Ganz egal, ob 10 Mantas am Manta Point, Federstern-Garnelen, Geistermuränen oder Steinfisch, Nikko hat alles gefunden und mir einen unvergesslichen Tauchurlaub beschwert. Ich muss an dieser Stelle auch nochmals Euren Service erwähnen: Er ist einmalig gut!! Man muss sich um nix kümmern und kann sich vollkommen aufs Tauchen konzentrieren. Weiter so :-)
Lasst mal etwas von Euch hören. Wie ging die Story an Ölhafen weiter. Bin neugierig.

Nous avons passé 5 nuits au Lotus Bungalows, pris nos repas au restaurant de l'hôtel et plongé avec les Gangga Divers. Nous sommes enchantés de notre passage chez vous qui fut le point fort de notre séjour à Bali. L'hôtel allie bon goût, propreté, gentillesse et dévouement du personnel, les managers Henriette et Jan charmants, le coin piscine/banquette/repos à comme un goût de paradis, le restaurant est un bon resto balinais où l'on peut aussi déguster de bonnes pizzas, et le club de plongée est parfait. Jan prends vraiment le temps de bien nous expliquer tout ce qu'on peut faire avec eux à l'arrivée. Le matos de plongée est impeccable, le bateau pour les sorties avec 2 plongées est très bien équipé, spacieux. Les raies manta étaient au rendez-vous, comme souvent j'ai l'impression et les plongées sur le Liberty wreck et dans la Padangbai sont bien aussi.
L'hôtel, le club de plongée sont des petites structures, et c'est plutôt une ambiance sympa et familiale.
Nous sommes repartis la larme à l'oeil ... |

This little slice of heaven is literally one of my favorite spots on earth. The staff is lovely, the food hits the spot, the rooms are a calm oasis in all that Balinese heat, the infinty pool is to die for and Henriette and Jan are as helpful and friendly as can be. I will continue to return here each and every time I come to Bali. Thanks guys for a great stay!

While staying on Gili Trawangan off of Lombock, we were told of a great dive operator in Candidasa, Bali. We were headed to Candidasa next and even though we didn't stay at Lotus Bungalows, we contacted Jan for diving. Be warned that there are many less expensive highly questionable dive operators in and around Candidasa, but, Jan and his crew were not at all second rate and worth every rupiah. This may be the best service we've ever received anywhere we've been. Jan gives a complete dive log with a map of your dive sites upon leaving. Also, we have never had our equipment washed as thoroughly as they did. No unpleasant odor here! The pristine dive sites were a pleasant surprise and the fish life and variety was excellent. Kudos to divemaster Nikko, for his attention to safety and for giving us a memorable experience. If we ever return to Bali, we'll stay at Lotus Bungalows and gladly dive with Jan and Nikko again. |

abbiamo appena trascorso una settimana bellissima al Lotus di Candidasa e lo raccomandiamo per il servizio, lo staff cordialissimo,il cibo favoloso, ma soprattutto per il relax.
Complimenti alla Lotus e a Gaspare. |

Jan, Henriette and their crew at the newly opened dive center at Lotus Bungalows took us to some unforgetable dives out at Nusa Penida and Tulamben. Diving with up to 15 mantas was the highlight of our stay in Bali. The service and equipment were top and very much to be recommended!

In the spring of 2003, my husband and I ended an adventurous month-long stay in Bali by relaxing in the most beautiful and friendly resort we had experienced: Lotus Bungalows. Our cottage was clean and bright; the staff attentive; the views from that absolutely delicious pagoda next to the pool, breathtaking! …and the food! Jérôme (a discriminating French chef) was delighted to find a wood-burning oven and cooks who understood European cuisine.
Years after our stay, I still speak highly of Lotus and dream of my return. Thank you.

ottobre e novembre 2006 : il nostro primo viaggio a Bali comincia al Lotus Bungalows... Come una sorgente di benessere, questo posto è difficile da lasciare!
Dopo aver girato tutta Bali, abbiamo scelto Lotus Bungalows n°1 e diamo 10/10 alla struttura e al servizio.
Tutto è perfetto e molto curato : le camere e i bagni, il giardino, la piscina, la cucina.
L'atmosfera è unica ed esclusiva!
Grazie all'ospitalità e alla professionalità di Sveva (resident manager)insieme alla sua squadra, nostro soggiorno lì rimarrà per sempre uno dei nostri più bei ricordi di viaggio!

In October 2006 we spend our first vacation in Bali, we didn’t know what to expect after several vacations in North Sulawesi, but it turned out to be a very pleasant surprise.
Candidasa is a very nice village, with the many little shops, very good restaurants and friendly people that gave us the feeling that we where more than welcome, willing to help us, inviting us in their homes, and telling everything we wanted to know about their island Bali and the impressive culture.
What made our vacation really very special was the whole setting of Lotus Bungalows, the very good and friendly staff, the Balinese dance (that specially I will not forget), and of course Sveva who advised and helped us to see the beauty of Bali and doing everything to make it an unforgettable experience.
In the three weeks we spend with you we relaxed, made very nice tours, and most important for us, very good dives. The Liberty wrack, reef sharks, turtles, nudies, and specially the Mola-Mola at Nusa Penida made it unforgettable.
We know now that Lotus Bungalows in Bali is a place to come back to, so for us it was no farewell when we left but a “see you next time”.
