We have been to many places around the world. But Lotus Bungalows was definitely the best! There was absolutely nothing to complain about. Friendly staff, delicious food and a great athmosphere. However, this place would be just half as good without Henriette and Jan. Both did more than guests could possibly expect, they read the wishes from our eyes in a warm and friendly way. Jan and his diving staff do an abundant job, I'm still so grateful for his patience with me and the mantas ;-). Thanks again for everything! We can't wait to come again in October.

Wir haben schon viele schöne Plätze auf der Welt gesehen, aber Lotus Bungalows war zweifelsfrei der beste Ort für 3 Wochen Entspannung auf Bali. Es gab absolut nichts auszusetzen. Freundliche Angestellte, hervorragendes Essen und eine wunderschöne Athmosphäre. Dennoch wäre dieses Resort nur halb so schön ohne Henriette und Jan. Beide haben sich sehr viel Mühe um jeden Gast gegeben, mehr als man erwarten konnte. Sie haben den Gästen in ihrer warmen und freundlichen Art förmlich die Wünsche von den Augen abgelesen. Jan und seine Tauchcrew haben herausragende Arbeit für die Taucher geleistet. Ich bin immer noch dankbar für die Geduld mit mir und den Mantas ;-). Nochmals vielen Dank für alles. Wir kommen wieder im Oktober, wir können es gar nicht abwarten.

Paradise on the island of the gods,
Unforgettable vacations, excellent hotel and superb food, quite atmosphere, first class diving and starting point for individual trips around the island, if you look out for something like this, Lotus Bungalows and Gangga divers is just the right place to be...

We stayed at Lotus in March 2008. I will never in my whole life forget our first morning, looking out at the expanse of the ocean with the line of breakers. I hope with all my heart to return there one day. The place was unspeakably beautiful. The accomodations were perfect - clean, wonderful, appealing, but very much seeming to be part of the natural world. The food was wonderful. Truly heaven for me. |

Der Aufenthalt im Lotus Bungalow war wirklich wunderschön. Das Hotel und die Tauchbasis sind sehr professionell geführt. Henriette kümmert sich um das Hotel und das lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Bungalows sind sehr schön und sauber. Die Küche ist hervorragend. Die gesamte Anlage ist super gepflegt. Die Tauchbasis unter Leitung von jan ist ebenfall sehr professionell. Die Ausrüstung und die Boote sind fast neu.Und Putu der Guide nimmt sich sehr viel Zeit um einen die tollen Eindrücke unter Wasser zu zeigen.
Hier ist man genau richtig. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Lotus Bungalows - a slice of heaven in Bali!
Our second visit in 12 months was just as perfect as our first. Everything at Lotus is pefect - bungalow, food, pool, view, garden, service etc. We could not fault it. Have been to Bali many times and consider Lotus the best place for a quiet, relaxing holiday.
Thanks to Henriette, Jan and the lovely staff for your warm welcome and we hope to come back again.

We spent 3 fantastic days at Lotus in September, our second visit in 12 months. Once again we found Henriette, Jan and their staff to be very welcoming. We love visiting Lotus, everything about it is first class, from the bungalows, the pool, the food, the view etc. We love the quiet atmosphere, a place to relax and chill out without the "hustle and bustle" that is Bali! We wished we could have stayed longer, but unfortunately they were booked out, but 3 days is better than none!
Once again, our thanks to all at Lotus and we hope to visit again.

We just returned from a visit to Bali and a stay at Lotus Bungalows. We LOVED it there!
Yan and Henri are wonderful and the staff is amazing! The diving operation was top notch and ran like a well oiled machine!
The boats were kept spotless and the divers are well cared for. Your every need is met at the resort. You are made to feel like one of the family so to speak because of all of the personal touches! The views are fantastic and the food was great! I give Loutus Bungalows and Gangga Divers a top notch rating and would love to visit there again one day!

We stayed 4 days in Lotus Bungalows last June and we really loved it. The rooms, the garden, the view on the sea, the kindness of the staff and the warm welcome of Henriette and Jan. It was our first destination in Bali this year and it was definitely a good choice. The best hotel in Candidasa. We shall certainly come back on a next visit.

Wir waren im Juni 2009 zu Gast in Lotus Bungalows. Ohne zu übertreiben können wir behaupten, daß wir dort eine der schönsten Urlaubswochen unseres Lebens verbracht haben.
Schon die Begrüßung war sehr freundlich und wir fühlten uns willkommen. Die schönen Zimmer mit dem tollen Bad und den traumhaften Platz am Pool werden wir nie wieder vergessen. Henriette und Jan führen das Hotel und die Tauchbasis so, daß wir uns dort richtig daheim gefühlt haben. Das gute Essen im Restaurant trägt noch mehr zum perfekten Urlaub bei.
Die Abreise fiel uns schwer und kein weiteres Resort unserer 3 wöchigen Reise konnte mit Lotus Bungalows mithalten. Wir hoffen, daß wir wieder einmal die Gelegenheit für einen Aufenthalt in Lotus Bungalows bekommen werden.
